Creating the tiny items was a lot of fun.
Especially when they were put in the shop itself.
So I made a display without the front, to get an idea of the endresult.
Keep in mind the size of it all.

I am just finding all of these and am mesmerized by them! Where do you get them? What is the scale of size for these? What do you do with them when finished? Do you have a special "room" or shelves where you keep the finished little rooms? They are so cute, but a lot of work I am imagining. However, it seems to be a good exercise for the brain and the fine motor skills. Not sure if I could manage either at this point, but I do like to see what you've done with them. It looks like a fun and interesting hobby. Thank you for sharing it with us!
ReplyDeleteThey can be ordered online (e.g. Amazon), bought in shops. Some I got from the Action here.
DeleteThe scale is 1:24. (You can google "dollhouse scaling").
I also have a large house 1:12. (Just 1 as it's very big )
I don't have a special room. As I said before, I am looking for a good place now we're rearranging things in the house.
You are so right, it´s very good for fine motor skills. But also for problem solving skills.
Thank you! <3
