Yes, my knife got stuck a lot of times.
The only way to get the items out,
was to hold them in the light,
see the connection dots,
and cut them.
Then sand each and every spot.
I needed so much equipment,
that I forgot to make photos.

When assembling the windows,
start with the outer parts,
then glue on the middle parts,
hold the string with lights ready,
and before gluing the window on the wall,
insert the string within the empty space

Get your equipment ready
at al times.
Pliers like these,
and pliers to cut.
all sorts of squeezers,
like long, pointed, flat, curled,
are handy too.

I also need some silhouette scissers,
as the sharp pointed scissors I have
can't make the bends the way I want.
The details are so enormously tiny!

I changed a couple of thing.
Snowman at the top level.
Dressed a bit different.
Which makes the bottom level
less chaotic.

I also made the lamp different.
The foot is first wood,
then a square heavy bead,
snd some green and red small beads.
I also used
small beads for the christmastree.
And changed the way the door opens,
which looks far mor inviting.

Connecting the electricity wires was no problem.
Getting them to give light was.
So I removed the shrink pipe,
sanded the wires
after cutting them back a bit.
Turned them together again
the way they should be.
Connected to the switch.
Found some paper that could replace
Tested the batteries.
Checked again if I connected everything right.
Saw a video and knew I did everything right.
And got all the wiring out.

Saw a part of the windowshutters got loose,
and as it's not the time
to create a derelict building...

The past days I have been in contact with Crafts & Co, because the lights in the Christmas Book Nook are not working.
First they wanted a receipt...which I don't have as it was a gift. (No, the box was not stolen.)
I was told to remove the plastic at the end from the wire. I am sorry...I had told already I am experienced and have done lights.. I also went to school and learned there that the plastic around a wire is for protection, as it doesn't conduct electricity. (You see..I listened and remembered!!)
I got a video. The same one I have already seen.
Yes, I had done things right. Twice.
Then they wanted a movie of me constructing it.
Well, if I can take movies of past actions I will have broken a lot of science laws... but one never knows."
The other hurdle is making a movie, which requires two hands, while connection electricity wires with two hands.
Being born with just two hands, makes me feel kind of ..eh.."handless".
As I don't have a filmcrew waiting here for lights to fail and to prove that, and as I don't have a film installation ready to registrate everything I do (and did in the past) I feel a kind of failure.
So I asked her how to do it.
Got no answer. Hope she has tried holding the phone in her mouth and keeping the video button impressed with her tongue.
Those who know me know I have made many houses 1:12 and 1:24, so I feel very unhappy by the way I'm treated: like an incompetent liar who has stolen a heavy box with a DIY book nook and can't read (not remember) instructions.
It sure doesn't add to the christmas spirit.
